I am Ngan Tran. I was born in Hai Duong, Vietnam. I obtained my Bachelor's degree in English Language Teacher Education from the University of Languages and International Studies - Vietnam National University, Hanoi, Vietnam, and my Master's degree in Educational Studies from KU Leuven, Belgium. I am currently pursuing my Ph.D. in Educational Psychology at Oklahoma State University, advised by Dr. Mike Yough, while also serving as a Graduate Teaching Associate.
My research interests focus on two key areas: (1) students' and teachers' beliefs and their impact on motivation, and (2) instructional effectiveness, with an emphasis on practices that foster an inclusive, supportive learning environment and promote student mastery.
